Joyeux Noël!

what’s playing::All You Need Is Love – Lynden David Hall::
moodflash:: Photobucket happy::

Do you know, my name is derived from the Latin word Natalis, which means Christmas birth, or something like that. That’s because we have 12 days of Christmas, and I was born on the 7th day. So I should be getting seven swans a-swimming. *grin*

Came back from a trip filled with insane shopping sprees in KL. I’m not yet sated though, massive sales in Topshop, Zara and River Island has just commenced, and I intend to visit each store. I think I deserve it. ;)

Each December has always felt like a dreadful chore, where I have nothing to do, and especially because it’s the festive season, I always felt more lonely than I should. But we all grow up. And each year I hope the next would be much much better.When I feel more eloquent, I shall spew a little more verbal garbage. But not now, not today. I’m due for 2 meetings in under 24 hours. One with two/three girls whom I wish I would stay deeper friends with, and the other with a girl I have not seen in over 3 years. It’s Christmas innit? ‘Tis the season for some lovin’. So we shall see.

Sights from KL. Did I ever mention? I love to travel on an aeroplane. I love it. It’s the closest I can get to soaring in the sky, dipping the clouds, and gaining a whole new perspective.

I stayed opposite Pavillion, a humongous shopping centre which beats Vivo City hands down. It’s a shopping paradise I tell you. Virtually every brand is there. :)

Plus, the Christmas decorations were gorgeous. I suppose we who love in a summer-all-year-round region will always yearn for a white Christmas.

petronas view at night
You know, the construction workers seems to be at work the whole day. This picture was taken on Christmas Eve, nearing 11.30pm. And there were still workings hammering away, hard at work. While parties were held all over town, people popped champagne, and stuffed themselves with fois gras, oysters and the like. Juxtaposition.

winding road
I’ve always been travel intolerant. I hate long journeys. Because I more often than not feel exceptionally uncomfortable, and my face takes on a distinctly greenish hue. But this view, oh, the view…

genting
You know, the screams from the theme park start really early in the morning. I really wonder at the enthusiasm. And I wonder, was I ever like that? And will I ever be like that? Filled with wild abandonment.

I ate A LOT in KL. And I mean really A LOT. These are just the few shots that were taken. I couldn’t remember to take all shots before greedily tucking into good food. Especially the to-die-for BBQ chicken wings at Jln Alor. My goodness. Scrumptillicious!

And it looks like Daryl has inherited the genes of having a big appetite. :)

I’ll just end now. It has been a good night. Strawberry strudel. Milk. English Breakfast Tea. Love Actually. Yes, it’s been a good night.
